Watercolor is a technique that allowed me to outsource as much as I could almost immediately. Drawing has always been an instinctive gesture, nervous, innate. Despite this I took roads totally divorced from art. So self-taught I began to study colors, composition, patterns, shapes, materials. I replaced industrial paper, not totally however, with a craftmade one; I put Indian ink beside watercolors and then mixed it with “Ecoline”. The physicality as recognition, gratitude existence, but also direct language of emotions. Comes the need to tell the human nature and its instincts. The subjects, the actors of my paintings are projections of myself and of what the world pours on me: anguish, repression of any kind, hypocrisy, violence, beauty … A celebration of sex as a primary instinct.
